  1. Hi Christina! Try some whole cream, low sugar, probiotic yogurt for those last few stubborn pounds/kilos. It'll balance the good vs. bad bacterial balance in the digestive system, which also regulates weight loss. Awesome video!

  2. Do not fear protein on a very low carb diet. Protein is not insulinogenic in the absence of abundant carbohydrates. Look up a video by Dr. Benjamin Bikman titled Insulin vs. Glucogon: ‘The relevance of dietary protein’.

  3. I'm not long on keto, and was making all these mistakes, going to town with a bowl of peanuts! and wondering why I'm not losing weight…so thank you for this video.

  4. Hi, I'm new to your channel and just wanted to say thank you for sharing your experience with us. I'm starting it today, my son started it two weeks ago. I done this diet 4 years ago, I did it for 6 months and lost all the weight I wanted but now I got all that weight I gained plus some unfortunately. This is something that is at the forefront of my mind and totally necessary for a better life choice. Thanks again.

  5. for me lowing carbs is the easy part. The hardest part is trying figure out how to eat mostly fat while not eating too much or too little protein. Protein and fat seem to always go together.

  6. This is SUCH GOOD INFO, I was planning to eat croissants because I found some small ones that were *only 11 carbs with 15 grams of fat and I never would have gone into Keto so it’s good to be told to go lower since I have always had metabolic issues, so I have to be Super careful. Thank you for this tip.

  7. Agree, I wish I had these tips when I first started…If you are starting out, just eat the meat and fat and add in a little of the low carb vegetables like lettuce, bok choy. tip, using bone broths or even instant stock w gelatin can help carry over if you feel peckish. After my body adapted and my weight loss kicked in and I was on my way, it was safer to add back in the veggies and some low carb fruits. Get lots of different teas to help fight cravings for fruit. Tazo passion tea really helped me, and True Lemon crystals w Truvia saved me in the first 3 weeks. It's so easy to eat too much carbs, so I save the bulk of my carb intake for the last meal of the day. GET A KETO DIET APP!! It will really help you adjust to how much you can eat.

  8. Yes, too close to the real thing is just too close. As close as I get these days is ground chicken pizza crust. Tonight a couple of pork short ribs and half a bag of Brussels Sprouts steamed and then finish sauteed in bacon fat after cutting them in half. I never thought about eating B. Sprouts, and now I love the things. I won't even use almond flour any longer. Eggs, bacon, butter, steak, dark greens like spinach, B Sprouts, asparagus, broccoli, and cabbage. The only white stuff I eat now is cauliflower, cream in coffee and in a few recipes and some cheeses. You are looking marvelous, keep doing what you are doing.

  9. When I'm in a stall I do a 42hr fast! You actually feel amazing and it jumpstarts your loss again. Coffee, Tea and electrolytes. Salt is ok too. Start just after supper 7pm to 7am is 12 then one full day ,12 more (plan busy work) then another 7pm to 7am, thats 36hrs then wait to break fast until you feel hungry. For me, around noon to one. I started fasting once every couple weeks. Happy Ketoing!

  10. Thank you so much for sharing I totally relate to what you said about your bad habit I'm the same way it makes feel like I'm not the only one who has such bad habits😊

  11. No you do not have to take in 20 grams of carbohydrates per day. You can go from 20 to anywhere between 40 and 100. Your body needs carbohydrates for certain functions and if you're not getting enough then you risk health issues. I was in the hospital last spring I broke every rib on my right side and while in the hospital I'm diabetic and they set my carb intake at 75 grams. I lost weight not a lot because I was only there for a week and I was not on keto and I am still not on keto until the middle of July I have purchased all of the meats and cheeses that I want and some things that I will probably never eat again then I want one last go at! Dr. Elizabeth

  12. I am very fortunate not to be a food addict. In fact I don't have much of an appetite at all due to my syndrome it wiped out my appetite when I was 21. I eat one meal a day at about 10 to 10:30 p.m. and it's usually small. However my diabetic nurse practitioner has said to me you got to eat Elizabeth so I'm thinking that going on keto with a waffle iron especially will be much easier for me as I have very disabled hands and can't stand for more than a minute and a half before I've got to find a seat and my kitchen is not big enough for a chair I put too much stuff in it! I too love to bake and whenever anybody needed a fancy dessert for whatever reason they would call me and come and pick it up when it was done. You can put two eggs in the waffle iron on one side and two folded slices of bacon on the other side of a waffle iron close it and when it's done you've got sunny side up eggs and crispy bacon. But I'm the one who wait 14 eggs one day it was after dark I know that because I don't function well in the daylight.

  13. I also have hard time controlling nuts intake. 'Addict' is a perfect description, LOL! That's exactly why I choose not to bake at home. I don't trust myself with having a whole cake at home. 'Balanced choice' 👍

  14. Hi Kristina, I'm just about to start keto and I stumbled on tour video's and I just wanted to say that you have the most beautiful, big, blue eyes! I appreciate your vidoes for the honesty. My husband likes how funny your examples are. Just know that your work is appreciated. Thank you!

  15. Your tips are very helpful , I just starter the Keto diet, but I’m using my común sense, too much geese, too much protein and too much o every thing else is not healthy , vegetables is the key, not many fruits berries are good, nuts have to be raw, and small amounts , drink a lot water , exercise , about Keto bread and cakes , some of them have too many eggs (5) is too much in 1 cake, once again small amounts, and i rather to eat white meat, red meat once a week

  16. Thanks for all the great information. Now that you're healthy and sexy you need to add colour to your clothes. Not being nasty but I thought you've got a croptop on. Big hugs and keep the videos coming.

  17. This is exactly where I am step for step so I gained some weight back.
Never occurred to me to cut back fat. Tried to keep vegies in diet so
kept close to 20 net carbs. Love my keto pancakes but too much of a
temptation. Also pb (organic) too much of an addiction. And not
listening to body. This is the answer I have been looking for. When you
come off weight watchers where vegies are healthy and 0 points it is
    quite the mindset to break.
